Samsung has released the official One UI 8 update schedule for dozens of Galaxy devices. Find out when your S, Z, A, or Tab series device will get Android 16.

The wait for Samsung’s next major software update is almost over for millions of users. After weeks of beta testing and speculation, Samsung has now released the official Samsung One UI 8 update schedule for a vast range of its Galaxy devices in key markets.

This detailed timeline, based on the stable version of Android 16, provides a clear roadmap for when users of the Galaxy S, Z, A, and Tab series can expect to receive the new software. While the initial rollout began with the Galaxy S25 FE getting One UI 8 first, we now have a much broader picture of the company’s ambitious deployment plan for the coming weeks.

The new schedules, which have been officially posted by Samsung in both South Korea and Brazil, give us our best look yet at the company’s priorities. The flagship Galaxy S25 series is, unsurprisingly, at the front of the line, with the rollout having already begun on September 18.

This will be followed closely by the latest foldables and previous-generation flagships. What’s particularly impressive is the comprehensive list of mid-range A-series and Tab devices included, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to long-term software support across its entire product stack.

Users who have been testing the beta can now look forward to the stable release, and those who haven’t can consult our guide on how to install the One UI 8 beta while they wait.

The official Samsung One UI 8 update schedule for Brazil, which often reflects the broader global timeline, is broken down by device series. For the flagship Galaxy S series, the rollout begins with the S25 lineup (from Sept 18), followed by the S24 series (from Sept 25), the S23 series (from Oct 2), the S22 series (from Oct 6), and the Galaxy S21 FE (from Oct 16).

For the Galaxy Z series, the latest Fold6 and Flip6 will receive the update starting September 25, with the Fold5/Flip5 following on October 2, and the Fold4/Flip4 on October 6. The popular mid-range Galaxy A series will see a massive wave of updates, starting with the A56 and A36 on September 25 and continuing through October with dozens of other models, including the popular A54, A34, and A15.

Finally, the Galaxy Tab series is not being left behind, with the Tab S10 series getting the update from October 2, followed by the Tab S9 and Tab S8 series in the subsequent weeks.

It is important to note that these timelines are specific to the regions where they were announced, and the exact release date for other countries may vary slightly based on carrier testing and regional approvals. However, this official schedule provides a very strong indication of Samsung’s overall deployment strategy.

For a complete list of which models are included, you can always check our main One UI 8 release date and supported devices guide. This transparent approach to software updates is a major reason why Samsung continues to be a leader in the world of Android gadgets and reviews. The official Samsung One UI 8 update schedule shows a clear commitment to its user base.
